Calculation of the admission grade
Students from Spanish educational systems
The admission grade will be calculated using the following formula and expressed with three decimal places, rounded to the nearest thousandth and, in the case of equidistance, to the next higher:

- Admission note (1) = 0.6*NMB + 0.4*CFG + a*M1 + b*M2
- NMB = Average High School Grade
- CFG = General Phase Qualification
- M1, M2 = Grades from a maximum of two weighted subjects passed that provide a better admission grade (2).

Applications will be sorted and prioritized based on the graduate's grade point average.
For the purposes of scoring, the average of the file will be applied on a scale of 0-10, in accordance with the provisions of the Royal Decree 1125/2003, of September 5, establishing the European credit system and the grading system for official university degrees valid throughout the national territory.
If the applicant can prove that he or she holds a Spanish doctorate degree, 1.2 points will be added to the average grade. If the grade is cum laude An additional 1.5 points will be added. Under no circumstances may the admission grade exceed 10.0 points.
Academic certificates that do not include the average grade of the record calculated according to the Royal Decree 1125/2003, will be graded with a score of 5.0.
The admission grade for official university undergraduate courses will be the one shown on the certificate of grades for the entrance exam (PAM25).
Applications will be ranked according to the following order of priority, based on the score obtained in the access procedure:
1st) Applicants who have passed the PAM 25 in the Canary Islands university district (ULL or ULPGC) and the test option is linked to the degree to which they are applying for admission.
2nd) Rest of the students who have passed the PAM 25 in the Canary Islands university district (ULL or ULPGC).
3rd) Applicants with a PAM of 25 passed in other university districts whose test option is linked to the degree to which they are applying for admission.
4th) Rest of the students with PAM 25 passed in other university districts.
Under no circumstances will individuals who have obtained a qualification that grants access to university after these tests have been taken be admitted through this route.
Applications will be sorted based on the final grade obtained in the admissions test for those over 40 at the University of La Laguna.

The admission grade for official university undergraduate courses will be the one shown on the certificate of grades for the entrance exam (PAM45).

Students from foreign educational systems
They will be able to access the general pre-registration procedure under the same conditions as Spaniards. The entrance grade will be the grade shown on the accreditation issued by UNED (“UNED qualification for admission to Spanish universities”).
Students who wish to improve their admission score may choose:
- Take the specific skills tests at UNED (PCE) or
- Apply for the option phase at the ULL.

M1, M2 = Grades passed in a maximum of two subjects in the Specific Competence Tests administered at UNED (PCE) or any other university that provide a better admission grade depending on the degree to which you wish to apply. M1, M2, M3 and M4 = Grades of the subjects equivalent to the general phase passed in the Specific Competence Tests carried out at UNED (PCE).
This grade may be increased to 14 by applying the corresponding weightings for each grade level to the subjects that can be passed from the weighted subjects offered. Of the subjects passed with a grade higher than 5.00, the two (M5 and M6) that generate the highest admission grade for each grade chosen will be selected, applying the following calculation:

where,
M5 and M6 = Grades of the weighted subjects passed in the Specific Competence Tests carried out at the UNED (PCE) or at any Spanish university, provided they have a grade higher than 5.00.

In this case, the student may obtain an admission grade of a maximum of 14 points if he or she passes the following subjects in the PCE:
- History of Spain or History of Philosophy.
- Spanish Language and Literature
- English, French, German or Italian.
- A general core subject specific to the modality.
- 2 subjects other than those chosen among the 4 above, which are weighted in the public universities of the Canary Islands (weighting table)
OPTION 2.
The student has taken the subject tests at the PCE without the structure of the EBAU.
In this case your admission grade will be the grade that appears on the accreditation issued by UNED (“UNED qualification for admission to Spanish universities”):
Admission note = UNED qualification for admission to Spanish universities.
In this case, the student may obtain an admission grade of a maximum of 10 points (weighting will not be applied).
3. Students without accreditation issued by UNED.
Students without UNED accreditation They will not be able to apply for a place in pre-registration. However, for those undergraduate programs where places remain vacant, once the ordinary and extraordinary pre-registration procedures have been completed, applicants may apply directly to the registrar's office at the center where the chosen degree is taught.
They must present the credential certifying the Spanish baccalaureate degree issued by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training. In this case, a grade of five (5) will be considered as an admission grade.
Those who have proof of homologation of their foreign vocational training qualifications to the corresponding Spanish vocational training qualifications will be able to enter the university, without needing to pass any entrance exam.
The access note to the university It will be the one stated on the approval credential issued by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training of Spain.
However, in order to improve the grade of their accredited studies, they may:
to) Students from educational systems in EU Member States or with which Spain has signed international agreements, They can take the subjects of the optional phase of the PAU or the specific competency tests (PCE) of the UNED.
b) Students from non-EU educational systems with which there is no reciprocity agreement, will be able to take the specific competency tests (PCE) of the UNED.

Applications will be sorted and prioritized based on the average grade indicated on the accreditation credential or on the certificate of equivalence to the academic degree level, as applicable.
In the event that the average grade is not stated in said documents, they must provide the certificate issued by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation stating the equivalence of the average grade, which can be obtained through the following: linkIf this certificate is not provided, a grade of 5.00 points will be recorded.
In the case of homologated degrees, they will not be able to access the Spanish degree to which it is homologated.
