Documentation required by quotas

The documentation must be submitted before the application deadline.

The documentation submitted must include electronic or handwritten signatures with the corresponding seal and translated into Spanish, if applicable. Screenshots will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Failure to comply with the above requirements will result in the application being excluded from the pre-registration process, without prejudice to the provisions for processing objections.

Any falsification detected in the application submitted by a student or in the accompanying documentation will result in automatic exclusion from the process. Place allocation agreements will be void if the falsification is detected after the corresponding lists have been published, without prejudice to any other responsibilities incurred by the applicant.

The students of the Group A They will not present any documentation, unless they also request a place for the reserve quotas for students with disabilities and/or high-level or high-performance athletes, in which case they will have to prove such condition.

The students of the Group B must provide the academic documentation required according to the access quota to which they belong. In the event that they also request a place for the reserve quotas for students with disabilities and/or high-level or high-performance athletes, will have to prove such condition.

General documentation

Applicants who are in possession of DNI or NIE, It is NOT necessary to present such documentation.

Applicants who Do not have a DNI or NIE, must present the valid passport or equivalent document.

General (Bachelor's degree, CFGS, foreign educational systems)

The students of the Group B, In addition to the general documentation, they must provide the academic documentation expressed below:

1.- High School:

  • Certification of entrance exam scores.
  • In the case of baccalaureate studies prior to the LOGSE (in addition to COU or PRE-UNIVERSITY, where applicable), without a mandatory PAU, they must provide certification with the average grade for grading purposes.

2.- Higher Vocational Training:

  • Vocational training certificate or receipt of payment of the fees for issuing the certificate.
  • Academic certification, including the subjects taken and the grades obtained according to the current grading system, with an explicit indication of the grade point averages for university admission purposes. If the diploma includes the average grade of the student's academic record, it is not necessary to provide the academic certification.
  • Qualifications, diplomas, or studies that have been recognized or declared equivalent to official degrees such as Higher Vocational Training Technician, Higher Technician in Plastic Arts and Design, or Higher Sports Technician must provide the certification from the Ministry of Education and accreditation from the UNED (National University of Education) with the scores from the Specific Competence Tests (PCE), where applicable.
  • Certification of grades from the optional phase of the university entrance exam, if applicable.

3.- European Baccalaureate, International Baccalaureate and educational systems of Member States of the European Union or other States with which international agreements applicable in this regard have been signed, on a reciprocal basis, provided they meet the academic requirements demanded by their educational systems for access to their Universities:

  • Valid accreditation issued by UNED and certification of grades from the optional phase, if applicable.

4.- Approved foreign studies not included in the previous section:

  • Valid accreditation issued by UNED.

The students without accreditation Students from the UNED will not be able to apply for a place through pre-registration, but they will be able to access ULL undergraduate programs, if there are vacancies, after completing the ordinary and extraordinary pre-registration procedures. They will enroll directly at the registrar's office of the center where the chosen degree is taught, in September, in strict order of arrival. The homologation credential will be the qualification that qualifies them for admission to Spanish undergraduate programs. If the credential does not specify the average grade for the courses completed, it will be 5 points.

University graduates

The students of the Group B, In addition to the general documentation, they must provide the academic documentation expressed below:

Students with a Spanish university degree:

  • Title, certificate replacing the title, or receipt of payment of the fees for issuing it.
  • Academic certification proving that the student has completed all the courses and subjects required to obtain the degree, as well as the grade point average on a scale of 0-10, calculated according to Royal Decree 1125/2003, of September 5 (Official State Gazette of September 18). Academic certifications that do not include the grade point average will be assessed with a grade of 5.0.

Students with a foreign university degree:

  • Recognition credential for the corresponding Spanish degree, or the degree equivalency certificate, as applicable. Both documents must be issued in accordance with Royal Decree 889/2022, of October 18 (Official State Gazette No. 251 of October 19, 2022). 
  • Certificate issued by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation stating the equivalence of the average grade, which can be obtained through the following linkThe declaration of equivalence must be accompanied by the official academic certificate for which the equivalence is being applied, and, where applicable, the corresponding translation. Applicants who do not present this document certifying the equivalence of their average grade will be given a grade of 5.0. 

Over 25 years old and 45 years old

The students of the Group BIn addition to the general documentation, they must provide the academic documentation expressed below:

  • Certification issued by the university stating that the entrance exam has been passed.
  • In the case of access through the quota for those over 45 years of age, only those who have passed the specific entrance exam at the Canary Islands' Public Universities will be assessed.

Students with disabilities

Both the students of the Group A like those of the Group B Those who wish to access this reserved quota must meet the academic requirements corresponding to the quota to which their university access belongs and for which they are applying, and are required to provide one of the following documents:

  • Certification from the competent body of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands certifying the disability and indicating its percentage. If the disability is from other Autonomous Communities, the recognition must be issued by the competent body of the corresponding Autonomous Community, with identical terms and content.
  • Psychopedagogical report issued by the Guidance Department of the school where the student completed Baccalaureate or Vocational Training, certifying the special needs addressed and the reasons for the need for resources and support to fully integrate into their education. Failing this, a report certified by the Educational and Psychopedagogical Guidance Team (EOEP) of the Ministry responsible for education in the corresponding Autonomous Community must be submitted. In this case, the documentation submitted will be assessed by the Pre-registration Committee.

High-level or high-performance athletes

Both the students of the Group A like those of the Group B Those who wish to access this reserved quota will have to meet the academic requirements corresponding to the quota to which their university access belongs and for which they are applying for a place, being required to provide the following documentation:

  • High-level local athletes from the Canary Islands: Certification from the competent body of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands, or publication in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands, recognizing the status of a high-level native athlete of the Canary Islands.
  • High-level athletes: Resolution of the Presidency of the Higher Sports Council, published in the Official State Gazette (BOE), recognizing his status.
  • High-performance athletes: Certification from the Higher Sports Council, the competent body of the Autonomous Community, or publication in the corresponding Official Gazette, as the case may be, recognizing the status of high-performance athlete.
