Regardless of the year in which you took the entrance exam, you must apply for registration through the ULL website. Here You have information about the documentation you need to submit and the procedure to follow. Once you have successfully submitted your application, you will receive an email informing you how to proceed with your PAU registration.
Remember that you can apply for both phases or one of the two. It's up to you. The amount you pay is the same.
If your baccalaureate is LOGSE or earlier, you can choose the fourth subject from any modality: Mathematics II, Latin II, Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences II, Musical Analysis II, Performing Arts II, Artistic Drawing II, or General Sciences. If it's later, you'll have to take the exam corresponding to the modality you're taking.
In this case, you would keep the grade obtained in the general phase of your entrance exam. The grade that most benefits the student will always be taken into account, regardless of the name of the entrance exam (Selectividad, PAU, EBAU).
No, because you'll have to register for and pass all the subjects. This will generate a new report card that you can use if you improve your chances of accessing the degree you're interested in (see questions 2, 25, and 26 for "Baccalaureate Students").
Yes, as long as you don't apply for the general phase in the same session (see question 2 for "Bachelor's Students"). This grade will only be taken into account to increase your admission grade, never to change your general phase grade.
No, the PAU is unique and, therefore, you must take the subjects covered in the current test.
Yes. Elective subjects can be changed from one sitting to the next.
In the general phase, you must enroll in the subject of the modality taken (see question 2 for "High School Students").
It will depend on whether or not you apply for the general phase.
If you are going to apply for the general phase or the optional phase, read question number 2 for "High School Students."
If you apply only to the optional phase, you can enroll in up to four subjects (whether you have taken them or not). If you apply for four subjects, one must be a foreign language (choose from English, German, French, or Italian):
Technology and Engineering II
A maximum of two foreign languages, choosing between English, German, French or Italian.
A maximum of two general core subjects of each modality, to be chosen from Mathematics II, Latin II, Mathematics applied to Social Sciences II, Musical Analysis II, Performing Arts II, Artistic Drawing II or General Sciences.

No, it's completely voluntary. Even if you enroll, it's not mandatory.
Since it's optional, you can enroll in one to four subjects and take the ones you'd like to take. If you take four subjects, one must be a foreign language (other than the one selected in the general phase). The enrollment fee is the same, regardless of whether you choose to take subjects in the optional phase.
Yes. However, we recommend that you ask the public university where you wish to take the test what requirements are established in that university district for retaking the optional phase of the University Entrance Exam (PAU).
Yes, but only when you get a place at that other university. Request a file transfer through the enabled procedure at the ULL's electronic headquarters.
