They may request to repeat the entrance test in order to improve your rating:

• Students who passed the PAU or EBAU in the 2023-24 academic year or earlier at the University of La Laguna or any other university in the country.
• Students who has completed a Higher Level Vocational Training Cycle in the 2023-24 academic year or earlier.
• Students of foreign teachings carried out in member states of the European Union, or with a reciprocity agreement on the matter,who have obtained the accreditation issued by the UNED 

They must previously submit an application through the sede electrónica de la ULL solicitando su inscripción en la prueba,  acompañada de la siguiente documentación, según el caso:

General documentation:

• Solicitud de mejora de la calificación.
• Students who do not have a DNI or NIE must present a copy of their validly issued passport or equivalent identity card.
• In the case of students who have passed the entrance exam at another university or a Higher Level Vocational Training Cycle in a province other than Santa Cruz de Tenerife, a certificate of registration and the institute assignment document (*).

Specific documentation:

1. Improvement of the grade obtained at the ULL.

• No documentation is required.

 2. Improvement of the grade obtained in the Higher Level Vocational Training Cycle in previous years.

• Certificate of qualifications from the Higher Vocational Training Cycle, stating the average grade for the cycle.
• In the case of students who have completed a Higher Grade Vocational Training Cycle in a province other than Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the institute assignment document (*).

 3. Improvement of the grade obtained at another university.

• The report card from the previously passed university entrance exam.
• The certificate of grades in the case of students of the Higher Level Vocational Training Cycle, which states the average grade for the cycle.
• The UNED credential, if applicable (Students whose education is foreign and who have completed their studies in non-EU countries or without a reciprocity agreement on the subject must also have passed all four subjects of the General Phase of the EBAU at UNED).

(*) You must request the assignment of an institute from the Secondary Education Inspection, through the General Electronic Registry of the Government of the Canary Islands: https://sede.gobiernodecanarias.org/sede/rgeIn this application you must indicate:

• Name and surname.
• Address.
• Telephone and email.
• Copy of ID
• Copy of the academic certificate of Baccalaureate or EBAU/PAU credential previously obtained.

Application submission deadline:

• Call June ordinary session from 2025: from 10:00 a.m. on April 28 to 2:00 p.m. on May 9, 2025.
• Call for extraordinary July from 2025: from 10:00 a.m. on June 18 to 2:00 p.m. on June 20, 2025.

IMPORTANT: The estimation of the application does not imply in itself the registration in the PAU, Therefore, once the application has been successfully submitted through the ULL website, the student will receive an email indicating how to proceed with the PAU registration process. See the procedure and location for registration for the PAU.
