Description:
Google Meet
is the application of videoconferences from Google, one of the various tools integrated into Google Workspace. Allows among other utilities present content During a video call, use the whiteboard, conduct surveys, ask questions, use work groups, record sessions, etc. These tools, integrated into Google Meet, are useful for explaining ideas, concepts, lists, or procedures while the videoconference sessions are taking place. The ability to generate working groups in different rooms of the meeting allows for the generation of synchronous sessions in which the group of participants can be divided into a session. These videoconference sessions also allow share screen, showing the rest of the participants what is displayed on the entire screen or in some windows of the shared device. In addition, as indicated, it is possible record the session and be available on the Google Drive notified via email for later reference or dissemination.

Example:
We hold a seminar with a speaker. All students log in with their institutional accounts (@ull.edu.es). At the end of the talk, the instructor can ask questions for reflection through the tool itself, or divide students into groups to answer the questions and present them in a discussion after returning to the general session.

The faculty member creates a meeting room from their institutional account in the calendar section. Some participants were unable to attend the information session, so the instructor shares their screen and uses the session recording option to later share it with their students. To do so, they select the option to share the video with access to users with the University of La Laguna extension and add the link to the virtual classroom so students can view it.
