- Description:
- Justification: Formal quarterly meetings of doctoral students from each university, which may be attended by the directors and/or tutors of the Thesis, as well as other members of the research team of the line of research to which the Thesis is assigned, and in which the doctoral students will present some partial results of their research to the others for discussion.
- Contents: Analysis and discussion of the partial results of the research carried out by the doctoral students.

- Justification: Joint scientific meeting of PhD students from the five universities, as well as members of the different research teams, in which PhD students must present a paper directly related to their research. International experts collaborating with the Programme may be invited to this conference.

- Other clarifications: Given the biennial nature of these scientific meetings, doctoral students would carry out this activity based on their year of entry into the Program, that is, full-time students in the second year and part-time students in the fourth.
- Control procedure: Written presentation evaluated by the director/tutor of the Doctoral Thesis and/or presentation at the Congress.
- Mobility criteria and actions: As this is an inter-university Congress, the event is expected to rotate, with the host university assuming the organisational tasks.
