Institute of Tropical Diseases and Healthcare of the Canary Islands

The Institute of Tropical Diseases and Healthcare of the Canary Islands (Instituto Universitario de Enfermedades Tropicales y de Salud Pública de Canarias) is a multidisciplinary institute that is dependent on the Universidad de La Laguna. It is composed of professors, researchers, and professionals from the fields of Public Healthcare and Biotechnology. Its main functions include research, development and innovation in these fields. The Canary Islands Institute of Tropical Diseases and Healthcare was awarded a Gold Medal for Merit by government decree (59/2013, de 16 de mayo).
