University Institute of Women's Studies

The University Institute of Women’s Studies (Instituto Universitario de Estudios de las Mujeres de la ULL - IUEM), which was created in 2007, builds on the former Women’s Studies Centre that was founded in 1995. The institute continues and extends the efforts, activities and objectives of the centre, allowing academics and researchers from the Universidad de La Laguna whose interests lay in Women’s Studies and Gender Studies to come together.
