- To provide an overview of the scientific knowledge needed to understand, interpret, analyze and explain concepts in the field Speech-Language Pathology. Students will learn the basic skills and competencies needed to interact with and assess individuals of all age groups for the purpose of improving people’s quality of life, health and well-being. These studies include, amongst other things, the basic concepts of Psychology, Biology, Linguistics, Education, and speech-language approaches used with individuals of all age groups.
