Degree in Business Administration and Management

Material resources and infrastructure

The degree program has the necessary spaces and equipment specific to the center/section to which it is assigned, including classrooms, seminars, laboratories, and other material resources assigned to the theoretical and practical teaching of the degree, with varying capacities depending on the training activities carried out and the average group size.

In addition, the center's general spaces/sections are available for carrying out other activities: auditorium, computer labs, study rooms, library, etc.

Classrooms and workspaces

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration currently has 16 classrooms and another 5 computer rooms, with the capacities indicated in the following table.

Typology of Teaching Classrooms and Computer Rooms
Number of classrooms Classroom capacity

2 64
2 18
Number of computer rooms Number of seats and computers

Thanks to the implementation of the measures outlined in the "Improvement Plan," drawn up after the Institutional Evaluation in 2004, all classrooms at the school now have the necessary audiovisual equipment to facilitate the use of ICT in teaching: a video projector with PC connection, an Internet connection point, and video and audio connections for DVD playback. The computer labs also have a total of 60 workstations. In addition to the same facilities as the school's other conventional classrooms, the computer labs also offer printing facilities for users.

In addition to the classrooms, the center has several facilities for holding research seminars and workshops (Degree Hall, with a capacity of 100 seats) or conferences and events with a larger capacity (Great Hall, with a capacity of 280 seats); in both cases, projection and recording facilities are available, as well as booths for interpreters and translators.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration building houses a modern library housing the Economics and Business Administration collection. The library has excellent facilities, including:

a) A reading room with 536 seats

b) A newspaper library with 40 reading places

c) Eight offices for group work (“carrels”)

d) Two repositories, one for periodical publications and one for monographs

The Library's collection consists of more than 50,000 volumes of monographs and more than 1,000 periodical titles, of which nearly 500 are still being received. The library also offers the following services:

a) Consultation in the room

b) Foreign loan

c) Inter-library loan

d) Reprography (with two self-service photocopiers)

Computing resources

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration has five computer labs, staffed by computer science interns. Their main role is to maintain the computer equipment and assist its users (students and faculty).

Each classroom has a capacity of 60 seats. The classrooms are equipped with laser printers and overhead projection devices. The classrooms are configured on a local network, with two Windows XP servers providing security, backup, and storage services, and a Linux server. The classrooms are connected to the university network, providing direct Internet access. The classrooms are open to students at the Center from October to July, during the hours the Center's scholarship holders are present.
