Teaching Support Staff
The support staff involved in the degree is mainly made up of administration and services staff (PAS) from the EPSI (which is divided into two, the Nautical, Machinery and Naval Radioelectronics Section and the other 3 sections, the Technical Architecture Section, the Agricultural Engineering Section and the Civil Engineering Section) and from the departments with teaching in the degree, in addition to other services that cover the set of activities carried out in the exercise of teaching (Library staff, staff from the Virtual Teaching Unit).
Specifically, the support staff that participates in training activities or collaborates in teaching support tasks in the degree include:
- EPSI Administration Team Staff. 9 positions in total divided into the following categories: Centre administrator, administrative director, 2 centre managers, 2 collaborators, basic administrative director and 2 administration specialist technicians.
- Concierge Staff: 1 Officer and two Concierge Assistants in each of the EPSI buildings. This composition allows the EPSI Concierge to remain open all day.
- University Library Staff: one Head of the Technical Architecture and Civil Engineering Section and two Library Officers also associated with the Technical Architecture Fund.
- Technical support staff for the teaching laboratories. This staff is distributed among the department of Techniques and Projects in Engineering and Architecture, in whose laboratories a large part of the practical teaching of the degree is carried out,
as follows:- 1 Trade Officer. Electrician. Installation Laboratory.
- 1 Trade Officer. Carpenter. Carpentry Workshop Laboratory.
- 1 Laboratory Officer. Chemistry and Materials Laboratory.
- 1 Trade Officer. Locksmith. Locksmith Workshop Laboratory.
- Administrative Staff of the Departments with teaching in the degree. This staff also represents an indirect support to the teaching of the degree by dealing with some related aspects such as the partial management of the Teaching Planning Plan, management of Department Budgets – which can result in the improvement of the material resources available for teaching of the degree – or the management of teaching positions with future assignment of teaching in the degree. The staff of the Virtual Teaching Unit (UDV) in charge of managing the Virtual Campus and therefore, the Virtual classrooms for the subjects of the degree and those created specifically for the management of aspects related to teaching (teaching coordination classrooms in the environment of Schools and Faculties).”
