The planning of teaching involves the structuring of content, systems, and methodologies that enable the acquisition of the basic knowledge, capabilities, abilities, and skills necessary for graduates in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences to pursue their careers in any of the areas specified in the professional profile defined for the degree.
The curriculum has been designed taking as a reference the Resolution of September 18, 2018, of the General Secretariat of Universities, which publishes the Agreement of the Council of Universities of September 17, 2018, which establishes recommendations for the proposal by universities of verification reports for the official degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences (BOE of September 20).
In accordance with Article 14.1 of Royal Decree 822/2021, the curriculum for the Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences at the University of La Laguna consists of 240 credits, distributed over four academic years. These credits include all the theoretical and practical training required by students. In accordance with current regulations and taking into account the available autonomy of both the University of La Laguna and the Faculty of Education, the structure of the Degree in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, in terms of subject types and number of credits, will be as specified in the following table:
