Admission profile
Since no specific prior training is required, students can be admitted to the Degree in Environmental Sciences at the University of La Laguna if they meet the general access requirements established by law. However, it is highly recommended to have acquired prior training, in addition to biology and geology, in other basic subjects such as physics, chemistry and mathematics. Likewise, students must have basic knowledge of English and computing. On the other hand, the following are desirable qualities for future students of the proposed degree:
- Concern and curiosity about the environment and its problems
- Interest in both science and other disciplines related to the environment
- Capacity for effort and group work
- Reasoning ability and critical spirit

Natural Risk Assessment: Analysis and management of risks associated with natural disasters.

Biodiversity Conservation: Ecosystem conservation and restoration projects.
Management of Protected Natural Areas: Be part of the management teams of national parks and protected areas.
Profile 3: Technology and Environmental Management
Environmental Technology: Development and implementation of technologies for pollution management.
Waste Management: Development and implementation of waste management systems.
Profile 4: Environmental Management in Companies and Institutions
Environmental Management Systems: Implementation of environmental management systems in companies according to international standards, such as ISO regulations.
Environmental Audits: Conducting audits for public and private companies.
Profile 5: Environmental Education and Awareness
Environmental Education: Development of educational programs and awareness campaigns.
Environmental Communication: Production of content for media and digital platforms related to sustainability.

Scientific Research: Conducting research at universities or research centers.
