It is evident that society, and specifically the business world, requires experts capable of responding effectively to the needs of business management and leadership; professionals who know how to face the challenges of today's world with negotiating skills; who work in teams, with leadership qualities; who have a global vision and solid knowledge that allows them to make economic and social decisions, supported by the use of complex measurements and communication technologies applied to a wide variety of phenomena. For this reason, since the 2010/2011 academic year, the defunct School of Business Sciences, now part of the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism, has offered the Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance.

The degree also provides training for development in the world of financial markets, advising investors and companies that interact in them.
