Admission profile
Given the intrinsic characteristics of English Studies, students wishing to pursue this degree should possess a strong interest in language and foreign language learning, and specifically English; a passion for reading and writing; and a special openness to human thought and the expression of foreign cultures, often distinct from the Western world. They should be sufficiently motivated to express themselves appropriately, maintain an attitude of analysis and reasoned criticism from a scientific and professional perspective, and possess a capacity for abstraction and synthesis. They should be organized and persistent in their study activities.
It is considered ideal to reach level B1 of the CEFR during the first semester of the Degree to successfully undertake these studies.
