Final Degree Project

The Final Degree Project is a compulsory subject of 8 ECTS that is taken in the 4th year

Skills to be acquired:
a) Disciplinary (knowledge): The student will be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding in:

  • Integration of all the disciplinary competencies described in the subjects developed to obtain the degree.

b) Professionals (know-how): The student will be able to demonstrate that he or she knows how to do the following:    

  • Design a physiotherapy action plan, execute it, and evaluate the results obtained according to the previously developed objectives.
  • Design planning, organization and management activities for Health Services.
  • Design and execute research projects that contribute to the production of knowledge in the field of Physiotherapy.
  • Communicate effectively and clearly, both orally and in writing, with healthcare system users and other professionals.

c) Attitudinal (knowing how to be): The student will be able to:     

  •  Maintain an attitude of learning and improvement.
  •  Develop organizational skills.
  •  Critically reflect on clinical, philosophical, ethical, political, social and cultural issues.
  • Work responsibly and maintain a critical and scientific attitude when interpreting information
  • Demonstrate the personal and intellectual autonomy necessary to undertake continuing professional training.

Brief description of the contents:

  • Development, public presentation, and defense of a final degree project related to the areas of healthcare, and/or management and administration, and/or research.
