The acquisition of this body of knowledge and skills guides graduates of this degree toward professional employment in archaeological surveys, excavations, and studies, historical research, work in museums, archives, libraries, and documentation centers, historical heritage management, history teaching, and cultural consulting in the public and private sectors.

Considering the characteristics and objectives of these studies, it would be desirable for future students to possess the following qualities: a clear vocational training perspective in the field of historical knowledge, a concern for their cultural environment, and a capacity for observation, analysis, and fluent oral and written expression.
