Degree in History

Teaching coordination

The Quality Committee of the Faculty of Geography and History, ratified by the Faculty Board meeting on May 10, 2012, is structured into various Committees and Subcommittees. This Quality Committee remains in effect at the Geography and History Section level once the merger of the centers is completed.

It is up to the Academic Commission Teaching Coordination, which involves coordinating the different subjects in the curriculum, with the aim of improving student performance and facilitating the establishment of synergies in the development of teaching-learning activities.

Coordination is carried out through meetings between the coordinating tutors of each degree and the degree's course tutors.

In addition, a coordination by courses has been established in which all the professors who teach in the same course are involved, convened by the Course Coordinator. It is the reference point for all subject coordinators of a given course, and its main objective is to coordinate the course's teaching planning.

Subject CoordinatorHe is responsible for the organizational aspects of the theoretical and practical groups of the subject.

A minimum of two meetings are scheduled for each semester, one at the beginning and one at the end. At the end of the academic year, the course coordinators meet with the Academic Coordinator Tutor of each degree to address issues affecting coordination. Minutes are kept of each meeting, indicating the attendees, and a report is prepared with the topics discussed and agreements reached and sent to the Center's Quality Committee.
