Degree in Naval Radioelectronic Engineering

Internships

The internships in the Naval Radioelectronics Engineering Degree present certain unique features compared to the general configuration of other Degrees taught at the University of La Laguna, complying with the provisions established in VERIFICA.

These training internships can be completed by students in shipping companies, coastal stations, or related companies on land. They are carried out under the supervision of a tutor external to the university, working directly with the university's academic tutor. The purpose of these internships is to complement the knowledge acquired by students during their academic training period, thus promoting the acquisition of skills specific to the degree, as well as the specific objectives and skills of the STCW Convention of the International Maritime Organization (IMO), thus facilitating their entry into the labor market.

The courses with externship content are located in the curriculum between the second semester of the third year and the first semester of the fourth year, thus providing continuity to the training closely linked to the maritime-land environment, encouraging students to connect their knowledge with the professional environment.

Agreements

To carry out the external part of the internship, the University of La Laguna, through the External Internship Office, has signed agreements with different companies in the maritime, port and land sector, to whose relationship you can access from here.
