Final Degree Project

According to the Regulations of the subject "Final Degree Project" of the Faculty of Education of the University of La Laguna:

The Final Project (TFG) is an independent project completed by students under the supervision of one or two tutors. It involves completing, individually or in groups (up to a maximum of three students per TFG), a project, report, or study that demonstrates the student's acquisition of the skills required for the degree (p. 1).

The Final Project (FDP) course is compulsory and consists of 6 ECTS credits. This course is key to the degree program, as it assesses a large number of specific and generic competencies, as can be seen in the course's Teaching Guide.

Presentation of the TFG reports

The presentation of the TFG reports will be done by telematic procedure, through the Electronic HeadquartersA copy of the report will also be submitted to the virtual classroom for the TFG subject. The deadline for submitting the TFG report will be announced in the virtual classroom. Papers submitted after the deadline will not be processed or eligible for defense.

Criteria for granting the First Class Honours

To be awarded the "honorable mention," the student must receive a grade of 10 from the tutor. Tutors must submit a written report, duly reasoned and argued, to the Final Degree Project Committee justifying their award. If the number of applications exceeds the established quota, the Committee will appoint a panel to evaluate and determine the qualifications based on the regulatory quota.

Procedure for allocating places

  • Before the TFG begins, the list of tutors, along with the order of student preferences, is published in the virtual classrooms for each subject. Two selection processes will be carried out.
    1. First, for students enrolled in the regular enrollment period.
    2. Second, for students who extend their registration.
  • Once students have all the information, the virtual classroom opens for them to select their preferences. In this classroom, students can choose 10 tutor preferences.
  • When the deadline expires, a computer program assigns the tutor to the student, according to the approved assignment criteria.
  • The provisional allocation lists are published below, and a link to a form for potential complaints regarding the allocation procedure (if applicable) is enabled.
  • Once the complaints have been resolved, the final assignment of students to tutoring is published.

Collaboration agreement between the COTEC Foundation and the ULL

The purpose of this agreement is to promote the development of research and educational proposals linked to the La Escuela Lo Primero (LELP) initiative. The goal is to further the objectives of the LELP community, highlight the educational project reflected in the documentary Las clases, and generate knowledge and practical proposals that contribute to promoting multiculturalism, improving coexistence, and community work.

The COTEC Foundation, in collaboration with the Faculty of Education of the University of La Laguna, will award five TFG prizes consisting of a five-day educational trip to Vienna, participating in a learning experience focused on educational transformation and successful practices of schools around the world, led by Escuela21.
