Internships
Internships are intended to bring students closer to the working world and help facilitate their professional integration, as well as offering them the opportunity to compare the theoretical and practical knowledge acquired in a real environment and to work in interdisciplinary teams.
The Mathematics Section has a Practice Committee that coordinates all processes related to the subject, including the search and selection of companies or institutions with which to establish collaboration agreements.
What are internships?
- These are training practices carried out by students of the Degree in a collaborating entity, which may be a company, an institution, etc.
- They will be tutored by university professors and a professional from the collaborating entity, who will ensure that the students are adapted to the assigned tasks, will monitor and evaluate them, and will ensure compliance with the provisions of the agreement signed between both entities.
What are their goals?
- Contribute to the comprehensive training of students, bringing them closer to the working world and facilitating their professional integration.
- To offer the opportunity to gain experience in a workplace in which they can use the academic training received, preparing them for the exercise of professional activities.
- Involve students in methodologies in real work environments and interdisciplinary teams.
What requirements must be met?
Having passed at least 50% of the Degree credits, including the first full course.
What academic value do they have?
It is another subject in the Study Plan and consists of 12 credits.
How do you apply?
During the corresponding period, students must enroll in the External Internship subject and follow the procedure established in each academic year.
