Final Degree Project

The Final Degree Project (TFG) subject is compulsory and is key to the degree, since it includes the evaluation of a large number of specific and generic competencies of the degree, as can be seen in the Teaching Guide corresponding.

He TFG of Medicine is oriented towards the integrated application of:

  • Competencies regarding skills and training content acquired during the teaching period.
  • Skills for searching, interpreting, and managing relevant data in the development of critical and creative judgment.

General requirements for completing the TFG

To complete the Final Degree Project, students must meet the following general requirements:

  • You have a maximum of 60 ECTS remaining during the regular enrollment period to complete the degree and enroll in all the core and compulsory credits remaining to complete it.
  • Any other academic requirement established by the degree in its Verification/Modification Report and in the subject's teaching guide.

To ensure that the TFGs are appropriate for the characteristics of the Degree, students are provided with guidance and direction in their work by one or two tutors assigned from among the list of tutors and proposed topics.

The work will be carried out autonomously by the students, in groups of a maximum of 3, and will consist of a supervised research work, with an assignment of 150 hours student's work. The TFG will be compiled in a printed report, which will be defended orally before an evaluation committee and graded like any other subject in the degree.

To improve the development of the subject and facilitate the preparation of the Final Project Report and its public defense, specific criteria have been established, which can be found in the Subject Teaching Guide and the Final Project Regulations.

The presentation of the TFG reports will be done by telematic procedure, through Electronic HeadquartersA copy of the report will also be submitted to the virtual classroom for the Final Degree Project course. Both submissions will be made one week before the submission date.

The deadline for submitting the report will be announced along with the publication of the schedule and composition of the panels responsible for evaluating the Final Degree Projects. Projects submitted after the deadline will not be processed and will not be eligible for a panel defense.

The management and coordination of the Final Degree Project is carried out through the virtual classroom.
