Access, admission and registration

Admission is the set of requirements necessary to study official university courses. Compliance with these requirements is required prior to applying for a place (admission) at the University.

Those who meet any of the following requirements may access the Degree in Chemistry:

  • High school students who have passed the EBAU.
  • European Baccalaureate or International Baccalaureate students.
  • Students with a Higher Vocational Training Technician qualification.
  • People who have passed the tests for those over 25, 40 or 45 years of age.
  • Students in possession of official Spanish university degrees.
  • Students who have completed partial university studies abroad or in Spain, or who have completed their foreign university studies but have not obtained their recognition in Spain and wish to continue their studies at a Spanish university. In this case, it will be an essential requirement that the ULL recognises at least 30 credits.

For the Degree in Chemistry it is not necessary to take any special entrance exam.

Admission is the process of allocating places offered by the ULL to study official university courses among those who, having met one of the access requirements, have requested them.

The admission procedures that exist at the ULL are the following:

  1. Pre-registration
  2. Change of university and/or official Spanish university studies (transfer of transcript)
  3. Foreign university studies (partial validation of foreign studies)
  4. Simultaneous studies

In it A limited quota of 80 new admission places is offered for the Degree in Chemistry through pre-registration distributed among the different quotasThe number of places offered for admission by transfer of records or by validation of foreign students is approved annually by the Governing Council and is available here.

Enrolment is the instrument through which one acquires the status of university student. To enrol, new students must meet one of the admission requirements and have obtained a place through the corresponding admission procedure.

Each academic year a document called “Admission and registration instructions” is published (see link), which contains the information necessary for its correct development (modalities, periods, calendar, documentation to be presented, payment methods, etc.).
