Material resources and infrastructure
The degree program has the necessary spaces and equipment specific to the center/section to which it is assigned, including classrooms, seminars, laboratories, and other material resources assigned to the theoretical and practical teaching of the degree, with varying capacities depending on the training activities carried out and the average group size.
In addition, the center's general spaces/sections are available for carrying out other activities: auditorium, computer labs, study rooms, library, etc.
The School of Business and Tourism currently has 14 classrooms and three computer rooms with the following capacities:

All classrooms are equipped with audiovisual equipment to support teaching activities: a video projector with PC connection, an Internet connection point, and video and audio connections for DVD playback.
The Center also has other facilities for holding talks, conferences, research seminars, and workshops, with projection and recording facilities and interpreter-translator booths: the Lecture Hall, which seats 79, the Main Auditorium, which seats 288, and the Board Room, which seats 168. It also has an office for student representatives.
Since the 2012-13 academic year, a teaching unit has been operating in the town of Adeje. It offers simultaneous theoretical instruction (videoconference) and face-to-face practical instruction for the Tourism Degree.
The available infrastructure is:
– Three classrooms with videoconferencing services.
– A computer lab with 25 workstations.
– A room for group work.
– Preferred study area in the municipal library.
– An office for secretarial services.
– A staff room.
The School of Business and Tourism building houses a library featuring the main bibliographic resources on Tourism and Accounting and Finance. It also has ideal facilities to facilitate the work of its users, including the following:
The Library's collection consists of more than 50,000 volumes of monographs and more than 1,000 titles of periodicals, of which almost 500 are still being received. The Library also offers the following services:
The School of Business and Tourism has three computer labs, staffed by computer interns whose main responsibility is to maintain the equipment and assist users (students and faculty). They are equipped with laser printers and overhead projection devices.
Each classroom has 18 computers, each dedicated to teaching and open to all users. The computers are configured for optimal academic performance. In addition to the Microsoft Office and OpenOffice.org office suites, the computers also include statistical software and other applications with a clear focus on economics and business management, commonly used in the courses taught.
The classrooms are configured in a local network, and have two Windows XP servers, which provide security, backup, storage and joint management of printers, and a Linux server, dedicated to the storage and management of user accounts, tasks that are developed in collaboration with the Free Software OfficeThe classrooms are connected to the university network, providing direct internet access. Admission is free for students from October to July, during the hours the Center's scholarship holders are present.
There is also a Wi-Fi classroom equipped so students can work with their own laptops.
