She received the Biology Bachelor’s Degree from the Universidad de La Laguna, Tenerife, Spain, in June 2015. She received a grant-assisted student form Universidad de La Laguna in July, 2018, with the Department of Biochemistry, Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Genetics.
Currently, she is a PhD student in the «Health Sciences» program at the University of La Laguna, where she is doing her Doctoral Thesis under the supervision of Dr. Acosta and Dr. Delgado. Her research work is development of organotypic cultures of uterine leiomyoma as a drug-testing platform of controlled-release systems, tissue engineering and biomedicine. She is co-authored three research papers published in high-impact journals and two posters to International Conferences.
