Group of Intelligent Computing

The Research Group of Intelligent Computing (Grupo de Computación Inteligente; GCI) is a research group of the University of La Laguna included in the Department of Computer Engineering and Systems Engineering and in the multidisciplinary Research Institute for Regional Development with the specialization on Intelligent Systems for Logistic Optimization.
The main methodologies for Intelligent Systems are Metaheuristic optimization and Soft Computing. The main application areas in Logistic Optimization arte Port Logistics, sea-side and yard-side problems, and Routing Planning, in collection and delivery, and in tourist route recommendation.
