Competencies

Competencies are the set of knowledge, skills and attitudes to be acquired by students throughout the degree, aimed at preparing them for the exercise of professional activities.

CB6 – Possess and understand knowledge that provides a basis or opportunity to be original in the development and/or application of ideas, often in a research context

CB7 – Students know how to apply the knowledge acquired and their problem-solving ability in new or little-known environments within broader (or multidisciplinary) contexts related to their area of study.

CB8 – Students are able to integrate knowledge and face the complexity of formulating judgments based on information that, while incomplete or limited, includes reflections on the social and ethical responsibilities linked to the application of their knowledge and judgments.

CB9 – Students should be able to communicate their conclusions and the knowledge and ultimate reasons that support them to specialized and non-specialized audiences in a clear and unambiguous manner.

CB10 – Students have the learning skills that will allow them to continue studying in a way that will be largely self-directed or autonomous.

CG1 – Know the theoretical advances derived from current studies on the impact and use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in education

CG2 – Understand the different approaches, problems and lines of research currently developed in the different disciplines related to ICT applied to Education

CG3 – Apply methodological and scientific knowledge to design, develop and disseminate research and innovation projects on the impact and use of ICT in different educational contexts and institutions.

CG4 – Properly use academic documentary sources and specialized digital resources in the field of Educational Technology research

CE1 – Understand the theoretical foundations, at a specialized level, of training processes with ICT in educational institutions

CE10 – Know the advanced fundamentals of computer science, telecommunications and software engineering and their educational applications

CE11 – Critically analyze the conceptual foundations and current theories on the sociocultural and educational impact of ICT in 21st century society

CE12 – Know at an advanced level the different tools, applications, educational software, Web 2.0 tools and social networks for educational purposes

CE13 – Know how to carry out information searches for the design of research projects using the bibliographic sources and resources available on the Internet linked to the field of Education and ICT

CE14 – Be able to write an academic research report, taking into account the theoretical framework, its methodological design, the results obtained and its conclusions.

CE15 – Know the procedures and forms of dissemination of research results, whether in contexts of public oral presentation or through academic publications

CE2 – Know the processes and procedures for the organization, management and administration of social networks, web portals, social media and other digital resources of educational institutions

CE3 – Know the quantitative and qualitative methods, approaches and procedures in educational research

CE4 – Acquire the scientific knowledge and processes involved in the design and evaluation of digital educational environments and content

CE5 – Apply both theoretical and methodological knowledge in the development of research projects on education and ICT

CE6 – Acquire both theoretical and methodological knowledge involved in the development of software, portals, web tools, apps and educational video games

CE7 – Acquire both theoretical and methodological knowledge involved in the planning, evaluation and research of programs and plans for the incorporation of ICT in educational systems

CE8 – AAnalyze the dimensions and processes involved in the development of research projects and evaluation of educational programs developed through virtual or e-learning environments

CE9 – Know the current approaches, trends, lines and research groups in the field of Educational Technology, both national and international.
