OFFER OF UNIVERSITY MASTERS AND POSTGRADUATE DEGREES FOR THE YEAR 2025-2026

Graduates abroad

  • For the Masters that enable the exercise of regulated professional activitiesthe degree access to the master's degree obtained abroad (within or outside the European Higher Education Area, EHEA) must be approved by the MEFP at the time of making the pre-registration request. In the case of Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching, can be accessed with the homologation credential wave declaration of equivalence of the MEFP.
  • For he rest of masters, people in possession of qualifications from educational systems that They are NOT part of the EHEA, which are equivalent to the Bachelor's degree, without the need for homologation of the degree, but with verification by the ULL following the procedure detailed in the next tab:

People who graduated abroad under educational systems Others to the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) without homologation of the Ministry, they must request the ACCESS AUTHORIZATION TO STUDY OFFICIAL MASTER'S DEGREE prior to your request for access and admission

Applications for access and admission from those graduates under these conditions who have not previously processed the application to obtain authorization from the ULL for access to Master's courses will not be accepted.

Obtaining prior authorization does not imply, in any case, the homologation or declaration of equivalence of the foreign degree or the recognition of the same for purposes other than access to Official Master's studies, and, in particular, it does not confer the status of ULL student or guarantee admission to these studies, requiring participation in the pre-registration procedure and obtaining a place within the official period established for this purpose.

Under no circumstances will people who access through this route have the possibility of requesting Conditional Admission or Conditional Registration.

Procedure

  1. The interested party must submit the corresponding application for authorization to pursue Master's courses through the ULL's electronic office. Application
  2. Application submission period: open all year round (maximum deadline for resolution: two months). To participate in the pre-registration, the application for authorization must be submitted with sufficient notice.
  3. Documents to be submitted with the application to start the procedure:
  • DNI, NIE (accompanied by passport) or Passport.
  • Foreign higher education degree
  • Certificate proving that the degree obtained qualifies the applicant to access Master's degree courses in the issuing country (issued by the university of origin or by the Ministry of Education of the country in which the studies were carried out).
  • Official academic certification

(*) Authorization is subject to the presentation of the originals of all documentation at the registration.

All documents must be official and issued by the competent authorities, in accordance with the legal system of the country in question.

They must be legalized through diplomatic channels, or where appropriate, by means of an apostille of the Hague Convention.

All documents issued in a foreign language other than English, French, Portuguese or Italian must be accompanied by a corresponding translation into Spanish, which can be done (make sure that when requesting the Hague Convention apostille they do not ask you for the translation):

  • By a sworn translator, duly authorized and registered in Spain.
  • By the Language Interpretation Office of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
  • By UNESCO, the Office of the Ibero-American Centre for Cooperation or any other organisation recognised in Spain.
  • Through any diplomatic or consular representation of the Spanish State abroad.
  • By the diplomatic or consular representation in Spain of the country of which the applicant is a national or, where appropriate, of the country of origin of the document.

Submitting the official translation does not exempt you from submitting the document that has been translated into its original language.

Resolution

Once access to master's degree courses has been authorised by the corresponding resolution and if the interested party obtains a place in the requested Master's degree, he/she must present the originals of the degree and the certificate of grades for comparison with the copies that appear in his/her application file for authorisation to access master's degree courses within the time periods indicated in the corresponding authorisation resolution.

Master's students who undertake studies in the online modality, and therefore do not attend this University to undertake their studies in person, must send by post the degree and certified and certified transcript of grades, either through a Notary in the country of origin or at the Spanish Consulate in the country in question.

For these people, prior request for authorization from the University of La Laguna will not be necessary. to pursue master's degree courses that do not qualify for the exercise of regulated professions nor the legalization of documents issued in Member States of the European Union or signatories of the Agreement on the European Economic Area, listed below, but the official translation, where applicable, of the documents into Spanish, being able to submit a pre-registration application directly within the official deadlines established for this purpose.

The countries of the EHEA are: Albania, Andorra, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine and the Vatican City State.
