Master's Degree in Industrial Computing and Robotics

Competencies

Competencies are the set of knowledge, skills and attitudes to be acquired by students throughout the degree, aimed at preparing them for the exercise of professional activities.

CB6 – Possess and understand knowledge that provides a basis or opportunity to be original in the development and/or application of ideas, often in a research context.

CB7 – Students are able to apply the knowledge they have acquired and their problem-solving skills in new or little-known environments within broader (or multidisciplinary) contexts related to their area of study.

CB8 – Students are able to integrate knowledge and deal with the complexity of making judgments based on information that, although incomplete or limited, includes reflections on the social and ethical responsibilities linked to the application of their knowledge and judgments.

CB9 – Students should be able to communicate their conclusions and the knowledge and ultimate reasons that support them to specialized and non-specialized audiences in a clear and unambiguous manner.

CB10 – Students have the learning skills that will allow them to continue studying in a way that will be largely self-directed or autonomous.

CG1 – Search and select alternatives considering the best possible solutions.

CG2 – Develop analytical and synthesis skills; encourage critical discussion, defend arguments and draw conclusions.

CG3 – Incorporate appropriate vocabulary to express oneself accurately in effective communication, both written and oral.

CG4 – Extract, interpret and process information from different sources for use in study and analysis.

CG5 – Ability to propose new solutions in projects, products or services.

CG6 – Acquire new knowledge and skills related to the professional field of the master's degree.

CG7 – Critically analyse one’s own internship experience.

CG8 – Apply theoretical knowledge to practice.

CG9 –Apply knowledge of advanced sciences and technologies to professional or research practice.

CG10 – Know the current legislation and regulations applicable to the industrial and robotics sector.

CG11 – Assess the application of emerging technologies in the field of industry and robotics.

CG12 – Develop the ability to advise and guide on the best way or channel to optimize resources.

CG13 – Pose and solve problems, interpret a set of data and analyse the results obtained; in the field of industrial computing and robotics.
