Master in Philosophy Research (Interuniversity)

Master in Philosophy Research (Interuniversity)

The Interuniversity Master's Degree in Philosophy Research is an Official Master's Program that arises from a transformation of the Master's Degrees in Philosophy offered by the different participating universities. On the one hand, it is a transformation of the Master's Program in Contemporary Philosophy and its historical budgets, currently taught at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Murcia (verified by ANECA) and the Master's Degree in Philosophy Research, taught at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of La Laguna (and also verified by ANECA). The master's degree is joint and unique for the 3 universities. The offer of all subjects will be the same for the 3 universities.

General information

  • Taking into account the international, national and institutional context, the three universities have believed it necessary to carry out a strategic alliance in order to design an Interuniversity Master's Program, which is capable of bringing together professors and researchers around research teams and Projects with greater impact and excellence. In this sense, our interuniversity Master's is novel, since there are some interuniversity master's degrees specialized in one area in Spanish universities, but there is none that brings together specialists in the four areas and, due to their number, is capable of developing the different specialties contemplated.
  • This master's degree is aimed at:
  • Profile 1: Graduates and Licentiates in Philosophy
  • Profile 2: Graduates and Licentiates in the area of social sciences, philology and humanities
  • Profile 3: Other graduates or holders of degrees from diverse backgrounds with a qualification equivalent to or higher than the degree
  • For admission profiles 2 and 3, the Academic Committee will study the formative coherence of the (non-philosophical) studies carried out, which, depending on the Master's Specialization chosen, may reorient the chosen training itineraries. This reorientation is not mandatory but rather indicative, given that training complements are not required for access to the Master's Degree.
