Master's Degree in Nanoscience and Molecular Nanotechnology

Justification of the title

The Master in Nanoscience and Molecular Nanotechnology responds to the academic and research profile through a range of subjects in scientific and technological areas of current interest such as Molecular Electronics, Nanomagnetism and Molecular Spintronics, Supramolecular Chemistry, Surface Physics, or Molecular Materials Science. The “molecular” orientation of this Master in Nanoscience makes it unique at a national level and allows for the development of those aspects of nanoscience that are found at the intersection between physics, chemistry and biology/medicine, making it truly multidisciplinary.

The interuniversity nature of the Master's Degree:

  • enables student mobility in training activities scheduled at the different locations (public presentation of work, lecture series, exhibition of work and other events);
  • It provides the master's degree with a scientific level and multidisciplinarity that cannot be achieved by any of the universities separately, since it manages to bring together a teaching staff made up of the best researchers from each of the participating universities;
  • It promotes the consolidation in Spain of a community of young scientists trained in this strategic research area;
  • It encourages student mobility between different locations to carry out certain phases of the research project.
