Prácticas disruptivas en la medicina regenerativa y la terapia celular: De la heteronormatividad de laboratorio a la emergencia de nuevas exclusiones bioeconómicas
Resumen
Las innovaciones emergentes en medicina regenerativa y terapia celular han posibilitado múltiples rupturas con las leyes y paradigmas que determinaban los inicios de la biología del siglo xx. La desestabilización de categorías y dicotomías que demarcaban heteronormativamente esta ciencia posibilitó la irrupción de investigaciones que desligaban la investigación genética del sexo, deshaciendo la infertilidad como el límite de la integridad entre especies o la inmunidad como la marca de individuación orgánica. Sin embargo, estos desarrollos tecnocientíficos continúan generando otro tipo de mecanismos de exclusión de corte bioeconómico, tal y como analizaremos: desde el refuerzo de las condiciones de vulnerabilidad de los cuerpos de mujeres donantes al respaldo de promesas terapéuticas que desconectan semióticamente los contextos de incertidumbre en los que se desarrollan estas tecnologías, hasta la implementación de una comprensión performativa de la salud reducida a términos de consumo individual.
