Interpreting Through History is a special issue of the International Review of Studies in Applied Modern Languages (RIELMA), within the framework of the European Masters in Conference Interpreting Consortium, edited by Ildikó Horvath, Małgorzata Tryuk and Alina Pelea. It takes readers on a journey through the broadlyconstrued history of interpreting, encompassing manifold, intriguing and singular, local histories of interpreting and interpreters in different times and territories.
